Method

1. In a pot over medium hear, add a neutral oil.

2. Add in the ginger slices, shallots, garlic and dried chili and cook till soft and the fragrances are released. 

3. Add in chicken broth, tamarind skin and oyster sauce and bring up to a boil.

4. Once broth is up to a boil, add in cabbage, carrot, salted mustard green and tomatoes and your choice of any other vegetables and meat. 

5. Simmer for about 1 hour or until vegetables are soft.
